| Bio: | Come the revolution, I shall ascend to the title of Queen of the Hippies, and begin to lead a democratic collective in Wales, the tract of land our benevolent leader has granted me under his glorious regime.
Apart from the mass migration of hippies to the area, I don’t envision too many changes. Other than communes becoming the norm, school children learning the pibgorn rather than the recorder, a Friday commitment to lentil-eating and tie-dye clothes, Wales-wide "Hug-a-tree-for-life" days, a pagan calendar, and anyone with feelings of aggression being made to take it out on Merthyr Tydfil. Oh, yes, and anyone who says "I’m not racist but I hate the English" under my democratic leadership will be forced to relocate to Brixton or Hackney.
I shall also be the regime’s media and propaganda officer, spreading the word and the love of our glorious and benevolent leader to the peoples of the world.
In the meantime, I shall continue my more mundane existance as a vaguely hippified, folk-music obsessed, vegetarian, newspaper sub-editor and occasional magazine designer, who lives with my boyfriend (goes by the name of Nick and despises LJ) of 11 years in a market town in Wiltshire.
I enjoy playing the flute, good cheese, interviewing folk musicians for magazines, paganism, a pint or two of rough cider, Harry Potter, beads of all shapes and sizes, playing football, and I aspire to owning a pet goat.
I surround myself with a hand-picked wide selection of what humanity has to offer, including architects, mountain rescuers, air guitarists, photographers, world-class folk musicians, ex- and current- goths, computer geeks and web designers, actuaries, mad scientists, people who run around the woods and hit each other with rubber swords, teachers, jewellers and silversmiths, future world leaders, pagans, home-brewers, journalists, classical musicians, the odd trendie or two, archaeologists, footballers, and someone who writes songs based around his own piss.
I'm learning to clog dance, love a good ceilidh, and aim to never be bored. This is the story of me.
